There are still LOTS of good people in the world!

Hi Everyone!!
I am leaving Seaside, Florida today and have had a wonderful time…talk about hospitality! I sang at the Seaside Interfaith Chapel on Sunday morning and have great pictures for you to browse through on the website. http://www.susieluchsinger.com/

My faith in people got encouraged this weekend when 3 men came to my rescue and changed my flat tire…what an added blessing when they invited me to church! Oh! and that's not all….I was getting my suitcases out of the car and a young man (riding his bike on the sidewalk) offered to help me….of course I took him up on it!! There are still LOTS of good people in the world! You know that song "Never Alone"? It came alive in these instances…

My next concert will be July 16th in Overland Park, KS for the Christian Auctioneers Convention, then I'll be traveling north to sing in Cheyenne, WY, Loveland, CO, back to Cheyenne for the National Anthem at Cheyenne Frontier Days, then Cowboy Church on Sunday morning at 9 am…..then Greeley, CO. I will also be in Moravia, IA July 28. If you live in the NW, don't forget it's time for our yearly concert in Antelope, OR - Mark it down on your calendar….August 2 at 4pm in the church yard!!! I am looking forward to all these concerts!!
Hope to see you there. Go to the website for the complete itinerary. http://www.susieluchsinger.com/

Don't forget to watch Cowboy Church on RFD and plan to attend our Pamper Me Ladies Retreat Nov 6 & 7.

Happy 4th of July to all of you - have a fun & safe holiday with your family and friends - Pray for America.
God bless you!

I met a lady at the Memphis airport who had a morning like mine...

Hi Everybody! We had a great time in Syracuse and Farmington, Missouri last weekend…see pictures on the website www.susieluchsinger.com These shows will air on Cowboy Church tv in about one month.

I am writing this letter today from seat 4C on a Northwest Airlines flight enroute to Panama City, Florida….YIPPEE!! I was so glad when Charlie Renfroe emailed and asked me to come down and sing for Seaside's Chapel on Sunday. What a beautiful place!

Last night, I sang at the historic Ken Lance Sports Arena near Stonewall, OK for 3 Crosses Cowboy Church. http://3crossescamp.com Thanks to Pastor Dan Megehee and his lovely wife Tammy who hosted me there. We had a great time!

Please be sure to register for the 4th Annual Pamper Me Ladies Retreat being held in Atoka, OK, November 6&7. Go on the website…it's gonna be so much fun.

For all the locals…..Cowboy Church at Limestone Gap (our local Cowboy Church) is being held EVERY Tuesday night. Supper is at 6:30 and service starts at 7:00pm. Everyone welcome!

I met a lady at the Memphis airport who had a morning like mine. I turned off my alarm to sleep 5 more minutes and wound up sleeping 25 minutes...amazing what you can get done in very little time. We crossed paths at a small sandwich shop and conversed over fruit wraps (something I'd never seen) and wondered if they'd be any good to eat. She said, "I really don't want the whole thing." I said, "Wanta split it?" She said, after a look of 'what planet did this lady fall off of, "YES!" Afterward, as we shared the wrap, a cup of coffee each, and stories of where we were going and what we'd gone thru that morning, we parted ways and went our separate ways. Was this a "God thing"? May-be, maybe not…but it's kind of what Jesus was into…so… I s'pose it was.

God bless you today!

It's quiet and peaceful here in Parker, CO this morning

Hi Everybody!!

It's quiet and peaceful here in Parker, CO this morning, but they have sure had some thunderstorms with a few tornadoes this past week. I hear of lots of rain in different parts of the country…I pray your week has been good.

I will be singing in Guthrie, TX at the Tongue River Ranch Saturday evening (no lights) and at the Baptist Church in Guthrie on Sunday morning. If you've never been to this part of the country, you have missed a blessing…it is gorgeous! We are going to have a great time.  On the 17th I will be in Cleburne, TX for God & Country night at the rodeo, then fly to Nashville on the 18th to do an interview for a television biography about Reba. It's gonna be a big week!

I apologize for not being in touch more…we had wonderful concerts in Trinidad, La Junta (300 people in the sale barn), and Branson, CO. We stayed with Geral & Jamie Smith in their home south of Branson, Co---thank you, Jamie & Geral for your wonderful hospitality. If I get some more pictures of LaJunta and Trinidad, I'll post on the website, but there are pics there of Branson and Cowboy Up for Christ in Ridgway…which by the way, was wonderful…they have a hot springs swimming pool in Ouray and we 'partook' twice!! View pictures HERE

I say "we"…Jill Van Noy took the trip with me…she's a great map reader and doesn't get car sick on the mountain curves, AND loves to take long walks! She had never been to New Mexico, so we drove down past Durango and got our picture 'across the line'. We had a great time….the weather was extraordinary and we even experienced sleet/snow on Monarch Pass! Thank you to each concert sponsor. It's a lot of work and I truly appreciate your efforts.

The Cowboy Church film crew, Russ and I will be in Syracuse & Farmington, MO Father's Day weekend. Hope to see you there. www.susieluchsinger.com for the places, schedule/times.

God has been doing some wonderful things in my personal life…I thank Him for his mercy and grace…for loving me for me…not for what I do…not in spite of what I do…He just loves me. He loves you…remember that. We've all got our 'stuff', you're no different than any of us.

God bless you, and hope to see you soon,
Susie

Leaving New Mexico en route to Colorado

Hello Everyone!!

I am currently in Clovis, NM. I spent the night here and am en route to La Junta, CO where I'll be at the La Junta Cowboy Church tonight at 7:00 p.m.. I hope to see you there if you live in the area and are able to come.

I had a GREAT time at Cowboy Junction Church in Hobbs, NM. They raised a little over $15,000 at their fundraiser for the Christian School they are starting, and it was amazing to see the excitement among the people. Ty & Heather Bean are the pastors there, and what a heart they have for people! If you live in the Hobbs area, and already attend your regular Sunday morning church, you can still enjoy CBJ on Monday nights at 6:30 pm. The praise and worship with Lesley is awesome, too!

A big thank you and hug goes out to Crill, Cigi, and Sadie Allen for allowing me to stay in their home. Love you!

And to Cathy and the Tea Room…thank you for hosting the 16 ladies at an old fashioned "High Tea"! It was awesome!! (I even caught myself holding up my pinkie)

Thank you so much for responding to us as we expressed the need for financial support for Cowboy Church TV on RFD. We also thank you for your prayers of protection and guidance, as well. We will be in Syracuse, 6/20 at 7:00 p.m. for their 150th yr. celebration & Farmington, MO at the Farmington Livestock Market 6/21 at 3:00 p.m., next to film.

The 4th Annual Pamper Me Ladies Retreat registration is open!!! Be sure to let Doris or Mary know quickly that you are coming and make your plans!!!

Please pray for Doris, her husband Randy, and Randy's mom. Randy's mother has been in the hospital in Dallas and has had a rough time. Her name is Evelyn.

My friend and neighbor Carol Ervin has a new job! Atoka, OK is going to be better off because of Carol..she's the new project manager for the main street renovation. Congratulations Carol!!!

Ok! I'm off here….gotta get going…lots of countryside to cover and gaze over…love this part of the country and love its people…and so love the God who created both!!!

God bless you,Susie
