Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to You!
I sure hope you’re not letting the ”season” of Christmas get to you! I used to get angry when someone would say, “Happy Holidays”. Now I just try to be sure to give a warm smile with a gracious “Merry Christmas!” right back – I pray they will feel the love of Jesus that is in my heart! ANYWAY…..
All of my family is doing well: Lucchese (21) in Beverly Hills; E.P. here at the house ranching; and Samuel in his last year of high school and rodeoing. Most of our family will be here at Christmas, and we are looking forward to lots of visiting and eating, as we seldom get to see Pake’s girls!!

“Cowboy Church” on RFDtv is going great guns and we are having a great time “working” on this show! Be sure to watch Sunday @5:30 PM CST and Monday 8:30 PM CST. This week, we are showing our time in Las Vegas during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo “Elevation Sunday”. Our Christmas show (Dec 23rd) comes from Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church, Egan, Texas and highlights their annual benevolence Christmas dinner and me singing my favorite Christmas songs!! The Sunday of New Year’s Eve is also a special night: We will air the “Western Wishes” program that is our there blessing terminally ill youngsters with there “Western Wish”. SO be ready to watch “Cowboy Church” and check out the website:

Prayer: Continue to lift up all our Christian brothers and sisters especially this time of year – all over the world. My neighbor, Carol is doing as well as can be expected after the loss of her husband Russ, and my sister Alice has had a bout with diverticulitis. Thanks for your prayers. Praise report: Samuel had a wreck in my car the other day in what could have been a terrible accident, but he is fine. Thank the Lord.

I’ll leave you with one of my favorite songs – may the Lord wrap His arms around you, and may you be in “AWE” of His wonderful ways.

In Christ,
Susie Luchsinger

“You are beautiful beyond description. Too Marvelous for words; too wonderful for comprehension, like nothing ever seen or heard. Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom? Who can fathom the depth of Your love? You are beautiful beyond description. Majesty enthroned above. And I stand; I stand in awe of You. I stand, I stand in awe of You, Holy God to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You.”

Update 12/03/07

Hi Everybody!
I am trusting everyone had a great Thanksgiving. My family all gathered together to eat, play games and have a silent auction – a great way to clean out things you don’t want anymore – kind of like a big garage sale. My goodness, my family is competitive!!!

The Cowboy Church show is going really well. We air on RFD Sunday night 5:30 pm CST, Monday night 8:30 pm CST, and Tuesday morning 4:30 am CST. We’ve had lots of great feedback and I believe that people are being blessed and encouraged in the Lord.

Next week, all the RFD crew will be heading to Las Vegas, NV for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo where we will film the Cowboy Church Service, 11 am on Sunday, December 9th , at the South Point Hotel. Then, that afternoon at 1pm, we will be filming the Western Wishes luncheon at the South Point. Be looking for these shows on RFDtv Dec 16th and 30th respectively.

GREAT NEWS: The shop in which Lucchese is beginning her career is having its Grand Opening Dec 1!! She will be the Body Waxer at the Brau Haus in Pasadena, California. We are all so proud of her and wish her the best!!

Samuel is going to compete at the Mike Johnson World’s Richest Roping on December 27; be in a wedding for his friend Kolton Tipton on the 29; then head to New York City to celebrate with his friend Emily Mixon’s 18th birthday with some friends (and a tough chaperone). He is a busy boy!!

E.P. is still in the rock business and going great guns – speaking of guns, no deer yet.
A special prayer request for our good friend and neighbor, Carol Ervin and her family: She lost her husband Russ in an automobile accident on November 16th.

May the Lord give you the grace to deal with all the “opportunities” you have today. Life is short, please live it to the fullest with Jesus Christ as your Savior. Remember, “It’s not the number of the breaths we take; it’s the moments that take our breath away”. From: “Sittin’ At a Redlight”

In His love,
Susie Luchsinger
