Let your love flow like rivers of Living Water

Hi Everyone!!

Just a short letter to say hi and hope you all are doing well. With the elections coming up soon, the stock market ups and downs, high fuel prices, decisions on whether to take the flu shot or not, paper or plastic, etc……life can get "a lot" overwhelming these days.

That's why I love to read the devotional book of Oswald Chambers', My Utmost for His Highest. September 6th is my all-time favorite to go back to time and time again. It's based on John 7:38, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way.." From The Message.

From that I get this: no matter what happens in this life that causes me to continue to need and thirst for Christ and so drink of Him, then out of me will flow rivers of living water – water that will help, comfort, encourage, and benefit those around me. (Reminds me of the windmill) If I'm not thirsting and drinking, then I have absolutely nothing to share with those around me. They don't even benefit from my countenance - which is an outward expression of my inward condition.

Oswald says and I'm quoting him here: "A river touches places of which its source knows nothing, and Jesus says if we have received of His fullness, however small the visible measure of our lives, out of us will flow the rivers that will bless to the uttermost parts of the earth. We have nothing to do with the outflow…….(this is the work of God that you believe)…God rarely allows a soul to see how great a blessing he is."

Our new cd "Let Go" is going to be shipped by November 1!

New Album - "Let Go" Coming Soon!

Hi Everybody!

I’m on my way back from Fort Riley near Manhattan, KS where the All-American Beef Battalion and Cowboy Church tv ministered to young soldiers that have returned from Iraq and thereabouts. Many were upbeat and recovering, but some were literally still in a daze. We were able to feed them a steak dinner, then sing and share the hope of their future with Christ. There were families with little kids in there, too, so when it got quiet, you knew the Holy Spirit was speaking to them all. Awesome time.

Want to remind you that Cowboy Church on RFD tv will be coming to you from Wichita Falls, TX and the Ranch Roundup. 4:30 CST on Sunday evenings; 8:30 CST on Monday nights.

“Let Go,” the new cd, will be in our hands by November 7th. I am so excited about all the songs and I believe you will like it, too. If you would like to order the cd, contact Doris or Mary: 1 800 447 1987 or on our website: www.susieluchsinger.com

It’s not too late to come to Pamper Me Ladies Retreat in my hometown of Atoka , Oklahoma. November 7 & 8 – go to the website and you can register from there.

All is well here – it’s certainly fall weather and it reminds me as farmers have harvested crops and ranchers are now weaning calves, that “Let Go” is also a type of harvest for me in my life. I worked really hard this year to earn the money in order to record this music. It always makes a person feel good when he/she has worked for something so hard and then sees it come to fruition. You have had a part in this, too. Thank you for all your help and support this year. If you’ve prayed for us, had me come to your event to sing, or have supported the ministry monthly. Thank you so much!!

The theme for “Let Go” is Hebrews 12:1"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."

We need to let go of all the things that continue to ensnare us so we can run the race that God has for us to run.

May God continue to bless you richly,

Susie McEntire Luchsinger
