There is just a tinge of fall in the air...

Can you feel it? I love the hint of crispness in the morning when Carol and I walk up in the hills and see the low lying fog just over the surface of the ground. Love seeing the changing of the seasons!!!

I sang in Deshler, NE last night for the Reinke Corporation who manufactures irrigation pivots and distributes them literally around the world - what an organization! They had lots of activities for their employees (turtle races, in the swimming pool, belly flop contest, bingo, and lots more) ending with my concert. The folks were so congenial and extra nice…I met new friends, but also met up with some folks I'd known before. I will be back in that area in October for a concert in Red Cloud.

It's sad news for Paul. The doctors have diagnosed him with liver cancer. Your well wishes and prayers are sure appreciated. Thank you for praying for our friend, Jill Van Noy. She did not get good news this past week and has been diagnosed with MS. Please be in prayer for her. Thank you so much.

I will be in Okemah, OK August 29th to listen to Barry Ward share and sing. Check out the website for the exact location….we will be filming Cowboy Church to be shown on RFD tv.

Ladies are registering for Pamper Me! We are all excited and plans are well on the way to have an exciting time for the ladies November 6&7. Register today.

God bless you,

Just got back from the Texas Ranch Roundup in Wichita Falls, Texas this weekend.

All I can say is…"God showed His mighty face". Bunk Skelton and his band of fabulous pickers opened up the morning, Tanya Wade shared her story, Mike Stephens and Tom Moorhouse were masters of ceremony, Gabe Pennell gave his poem, Russ preached, and I sang. This service should air on RFDtv in about 1 month. It was good to see so many people who had been in attendance since the very first service out at the roundup arena.

My sister, Reba McEntire is releasing her new cd "Keep on Loving You" today! Be sure to get a copy….I'm sure she doesn't need my plug, but I think she deserves a 'gazillion/million seller'. She looks and sounds awesome!

Lucchese jumped out of a plane! Yep - she is living her life to the fullest….what a girl! Samuel is still calf roping and won a jackpot the other day…keep it up Sam! E.P. and Samuel have hauled in 277 bales of hay from the hay meadow north of us. If you are in a dry area and need hay, please contact E.P. here on this website.

The kids are dealing with their dad being sick. Even though the stents that have been put in his liver have improved his health, there is a possibility that Paul has cancer in his liver. Your prayers are appreciated. Will know more the end of this week.

I go to Deshler, NE this Saturday to sing for the Reinke Family Picnic. It's gonna be a FUN day!! Then, we will film for Cowboy Church in Okemah, OK on August 29.

I ask for prayer for my friend Jill Van Noy today that the doctors would see what is causing numbness in her body. Thank you.

God bless you always,
Susie McEntire Luchsinger

I had an absolutely fantastic time in Oregon!

Hi Everybody!

I had an absolutely fantastic time in Oregon this weekend! The weather was unseasonably hot, and the Antelopearea was plagued with grassfires, but there was a peace and contentment in the church yard crowd gathered for our 4pm concert. Thanks to my hosts Dan & Jeanne Carver (Imperial Stock Ranch), the Antelope Community Church, and to The Mud Springs Gospel Band (who always bless me with their picking/singing/and sweet spirits). It's always a joy seeing folks that have attended the concert (some for 17 years) and meeting new people that a friend or relative have invited, coerced, (or whatever way imaginable) to the concert.

As you can see by the photos on the website, we had a fantastic time. View photos here

I am on the plane returning from the NW headed to Denver….from there I'll drive to Ada, OK for my performance there Thursday night, 7pm at the McSwain Theatre…downtown. Hope to see you there.

The next weekend, I go to Wichita Falls, TX for the The Ranch Roundup with Cowboy Church at 9am at the MPEC Center.

I say this with great humility..not bragging…not flippantly: God has been good to me. Relationships are growing…my family is healthy and He has blessed me with people who are planting good Spiritual seeds of inspiration, hope, vision, and a future into my life. I pray today that your life be enriched as well…that you would reflect on God's goodness and how He wants to be with you…in everything.

In Christ's love,
Susie

My time in Cheyenne, Loveland, and Greeley went really well!

Hi Everybody!

I'm currently on a plane enroute to the GREAT Northwest! Our annual concert in the Antelope Community Church yard is coming up this Sunday at 4pm. Mud Springs Gospel Band will be performing and it's always a VERY good time….see you there!

I was in Moravia, Iowa on Tuesday night doing a benefit for New Hope Counseling Center of Centerville, IA. Thanks to the Nazarene church there who hosted the event and for all of you who attended and supported this wonderful center. Thanks to Roy & Vicki Spurgeon and Linda Ballanger for all your support!

My time in Cheyenne, Loveland, and Greeley went really well! We had a record crowd at Cheyenne Frontier Days! Thanks to Stran Smith (2009 PRCA Champion Calf Roper) who shared testimony, Gabe Pennell (who shared a stirring patriotic poem), Ted Wiese (Rockin W Rodeo Ministries) who mc'd, Keenie Word (who has a BRAND new cd out), and Russ Weaver (pastor of Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church) who shared the Word of God. The Lord truly showed up and I believe it was one of the best services we've had at Cheyenne. Go to the website and you can see lots of pictures from this service: www.susieluchsinger.com

The added blessing to me was to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the rodeo….what a thrill!!

SNIG (Sunday nights in Greeley) got togeher with First Baptist Cheyenne, and The Church of Loveland and brought me in for 3 separate nights there. Thanks to those who hosted us (Bill and Ila McIlvain) and all those who helped to organize the concerts. I was so blessed to see the Union Colony Civic Center used for the first time for SNIG and seat approximately 1400 people. What a blessing! Thanks to all who worked so hard to put these concerts on…especially George Townsend. The Caballero Family was there to sing and WOW! what a great performance! They have a new cd!!

Please be in prayer for Cowboy Church, RFDtv supporter/producer Jim Odle who underwent back surgery in Fort Collins last Friday. We all on Cowboy Church appreciate the support you have been giving us. We have expressed a need for financial support and you have responded…THANK YOU!!

We were able to meet Taylor Swift before her show in Cheyenne….what a warm, kind, bubbly young lady she is! Congratulations to her and her family (mom & brother were there also) for her success.

There are some more surgeries in the future for my kids' dad, Paul Luchsinger. Right now he is at his home in Mobeetie, TX and I believe, doing as well as expected. I really appreciate your prayers for E.P., Lucchese, and Samuel, and I know Paul appreciates your calls and prayers.

I will be in downtown Ada, Oklahoma August 6 at the newly remodeled McSwain Theatre- hope to see you there!! You can register for Pamper Me Ladies Retreat at www.susieluchsinger.com.

I was talking to a couple on the plane just now about a friend who is very highly educated, beautiful, and talented, and in a very abusive relationship. They wondered how such a woman could be reduced to believing she is not beautiful, not smart and totally unable to remove herself from that situation. I told them they were re-telling my story. Abuse is crippling. I share in my concerts how horrible words are….that we should be very careful to share blessings - not cursings with those around us….AND we can clean up our own air space by doing just that….it's not just about cussing…it's refraining from hurtful words that cause a person to think less of themself and not how God views them. It's showering a blessing out in our words to encourage and edify those who come in contact with us. Remember, you are an influence….use it for good.

God bless you,and Happy Trails!
