Happy Memorial Weekend!

Happy Memorial Weekend!

Well, my son Samuel is officially out of school! He has been rodeoing ever since graduation night and is keeping the roads hot going to local rodeos. Lucchese came in for the festivities from LA and it was great to spend time with family and friends.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family members of Dottie Rambo who lost her life in a bus accident and Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife who lost their five-year-old child in an accident. Thank God we can climb up into His lap and drink in His love for us! Conner McDougall got a good report from the doctors in Baltimore – his mom and grandma are working hard to help him get well, and their efforts were rewarded. Go to caringbridge.org to read about Conner.

Thanks to those who sponsored concerts this month: Lone Star Cowboy Church, Montgomery, TX; Pioneer Telephone, Kingfisher, OK; & Oklahoma Corrections Industries. I really enjoyed singing for all of you!

We will again hold Cowboy Church at Liberty Ranch, Limestone Gap, Oklahoma on May 27th at 6pm (always the last Tuesday of the month). The sale arena is 17 miles North of Atoka on Hwy 69. We’d love to see you!!!

On a more personal note, my divorce was granted on May 19th. So many of you have responded with love and prayer support and I really appreciate it. The next few weeks are crucial for me emotionally and financially. We have been ordered by the judge to sell the touring bus that we traveled in, so if you know of someone who is looking for a motorhome/bus I have it for sale. I will post pictures next week on the website.

Do you have a favorite “cowboy” song? If so, please write me back with the title. I want to include some more cowboy songs on my next cd.

The Cowboy Church crew will be at the Barry Burk Calf Roping in Ardmore, OK on Sunday for the church service there. Samuel will be roping on Monday in his category. Be sure to watch Cowboy Church this Sunday night at 5:30 CST* on RFDtv coming from Lone Star Cowboy Church, Montgomery, Texas. Have a safe and happy holiday this weekend!

In Christ’s love,

Susie McEntire Luchsinger
